【サーバ運用】怪現象シリーズその１−NICが認識されず−

サーバ運用

先ほどのアップデートのためにファイルサーバとメインサーバを
リブートしたわけですが、なぜかここでファイルサーバの
NICが認識されなかったようで、リブートには成功したものの
ネットワークが遮断されている状態になってしまいました。

アップデートの作業は遠隔地で行っていたので、
「どないなっとんねん」とか偽関西人になりながら帰宅、
コンソールを見つつ作業をする事に。

とりあえず再起動中に何が起こっていたのかを確認。

……見事に通常表示されるはずのre0の記述がありません。
ん〜……物理的な接続には問題がないはずなんだけどな。
ちなみにこのボードを使ってます。 


同じベンダの違うボードを使ってみるか、或いは
秋葉原で中古のIntelチップ搭載のNICを買ってくるか……かな。

あ、ちなみにこの問題はもう一度リブートしたら認識してくれました。
ますます謎だ……IRQが被ってるわけでも無いしなぁ。
